Step 1: Log In
- Go to Instagram Account Deletion Page on a web browser. You cannot delete your account from the Instagram app.
- Log in with your username and password.
Step 2: Select a Reason
- Choose a reason for deleting your account from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Re-enter Password
- Enter your Instagram password to confirm.
Step 4: Confirm Deletion
- Click “Delete [Your Username]”.
Step 5: Wait for Deletion
- Your account will be deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days. During this time, the account will not be visible to others.
💡 Note: If you change your mind, you can log back in within 30 days to cancel the deletion.
